MY STORY
Hello and Welcome!
I'm Bella Sparks, a 16 year old high school student currently taking college classes so that I can graduate with a two year degree. In the midst of the pandemic and the monotony of online classes, I found myself constantly trying to fill my time with something that did not involve staring at a screen for hours on end. If you know me, you know that I hate wasting time and feeling unproductive at the end of the day.
After a year of reading 16 books, taking online classes, searching for a job, baking random recipes, and many other attempts at filling my time, I found myself quite literally bored and desperate to get out of 2020.
In the first few weeks of December, my mom kept encouraging me to do more with my time and utilize my skills to inspire people. She wasn’t exactly referring to making charcuterie boards but I decided one day that I was going to launch a Charcuterie business because I enjoyed designing food platters in the past for the parties my family hosted. On that day, I went to the store, designed, photographed a board, and launched Sparks Charcuteries on Instagram. Within the first three weeks my mom and I fulfilled over 70 charcuterie board orders and I couldn’t be more excited about my little business!
